My boyfriend claims that I wear provocative clothing, and he doesn't like all the male attention I get. I've been dressing the same way since he met me, and he wasn't complaining when we got together.
Should I tone it down for him or just stick to being myself?

blessing. put on some clothes. sure when u were dressing like that u were looking for attention as most of us ladies do. when young . yes now that u got him. yes tone it down. have some self respect for yourself. in todays times u can be asking for trouble. most men want respect u if u don't respect your self. . have a beautiful evening.
It's best to TONE IT DOWN & PUT SOME CLOTHES ON. Yes, have respect for yo self and the person who you are with. It will create a whole lot of PROBLEMS that you don't want. COMPROMISE, save it for PRIVATE TIME BEHIND CLOSE DOORS what have you? The public don't need to see that? Too many strangers, pedaphiles, look for young woman who are like that and can turn into somethin bad or deadly. Same goes for the male partner, he should show respect in the public eye to his female partner as well.
Please don't go that route? Ok, you wore when he first met ya but you were SINGLE then? NOW, you are a couple and things have changed. You can show SOME SKIN that's APPROPRIATE and RESPECTFUL & still look sexy an beautiful INSIDE & on the OUTSIDE. Everybody goes through a PHASE in life in growin up and people grow & mature, & go to the next level in life for the better. I'm just sayin?
Lookin at that pic of Toni Braxton, don't know why it's pictured has nothin to do with this article? I hated that outfit she worn it didn't make her classy but trashy lookin & desperate for ATTENTION! A pic of a everyday person dressin inapropriate in place of that Toni Braxton pic would have been better and more realistic?
Don't agree with this brotha here in this clip, every man (or brotha) is not looking for the "sizzle" or looking for a woman who dresses like she's going to a strip club to dance on a pole. Contrary to popular belief, there are some black men out there who do have morals and look for women who respect themselves by dressing conservative or appropriately and I am one of those brothas.
you hit the nail on the head! black women, We know what you look like beforehand! now show your inner beauty and respect for yourself as well as your man. don't stay stuck on stupid the rest of your life.
Sounds good, but your fraternity has given a bad name to black fraternities nationwide. Just recently an Omega party in Youngstown Ohio ended up in at least 7-shot and 1-dead from "our" community. Why is this so....some parents are looking for answers to this question....
@DShirley, I understand your fustration sister. I myself have some questions, that I'd like answered. That shooting was a stupid random act of violence. However, I don't see how this incident gives a "black eye" to Fraternities nationwide. The criminals who comitted these acts, were not members Omega Psi Phi. On the other hand, the one brother killed and 6 other brothers who were injured, were members. The other 4 were simply students of the University, enjoying a good time with some Ques. I hate to ever take the role of victim but it seems like Omega Psi Phi were victims that night. I don't know why people are treating us as if we were the aggressors. Now I can only speak for my house that I haven't been apart of in 5 years, but fire arms were never allowed in the house. Those bruhs were just sitting ducks. Maybe you feel like we gave Black Greeks a black eye because we didn't pull out our AK47's and start blasting back. I respect your opinion mamn, but I don't see your logic.
