Michelle Williams, one-third of the all-star female group Destiny's Child, has more than vocal skills to offer to her fans. Williams, 30, is also serving up dating and relationship advice this holiday season.

The Broadway starlet has always had close ties to gospel music, and admits that a God-fearing man -- no matter how old-fashioned it may be -- is the most important thing to keep in mind when dating. After that, everything else follows. Black Voices spoke with Williams about what else women need to be reminded of in order for their 2011 love lives to be an improvement to what they experienced in 2010. Single ladies, take notes.

1. Put God First
A man that honors God will honor me. A man that aligns himself with God and has the right woman in his life, will go about doing things the right way.

2. Be Prepared For When Love Comes
Get your stuff together. Get an education, line up your finances, and make sure your credit is together; these are the things you should do while you're single. Work on yourself, so that you're an asset to whomever comes in your life.

3. Accept Things At Face Value
I have upheld some men who I think are good men. Like really good men that will give you the shirt off their back. Men -- that when they see you on the side of the road with a flat tire -- come and help you change your tire. However, when it comes to women and commitment, those same men are going to be who they want to be.

4. Don't Take Any Mess
Make sure that whoever you are dating is an asset and not a liability when they enter your life.

5. Remember Men Are Not Like Women
Men will be men, and I don't say that to be used as an excuse, I just think certain things are in the make up of a man. I don't know if it's genetic or whatever, but some things men do are simply because they're men.
