In Touch Weekly recently reported that after two years of dating -- the majority of the time denying their relationship -- tennis superstar Serena Williams, 28, and rapper Common, 38, have decided to call it quits. A source close to Common says the two "just grew apart." The former love birds were last spotted together in April at the New York premier of Tina Fey and Steve Carell's movie 'Date Night.'

When asked about how long the two have been dating, the rapper admitted, "Serena and I have been close for two years. It's been evolving."
Common doesn't appear to be taking the breakup too hard, though. Sources say the 'Testify' rapper was seen acting rather single on board the Tom Joyner Foundation's Fantastic Voyage cruise in mid-May. "He was a big hit with the ladies," says a witness.
Serena, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the world in women's tennis, is now playing in the French Open along with her sister Venus. Common is busy doing promotional rounds for the film 'Just Wright,' which he stars in alongside Queen Latifah.

My OP..Serena may be the top,and a tremendoes talent with a DY-NO-MITE body. however i will take VENUS if u wil lLOL " i will also say this as easily as possible..Her sister venus has the most class..She is well spoken, has less attitude and does not seek as much attn as Serena?..Serena is just like one of those ghetto floozies from Compton..U can take them out of the ghetto but u cannot take the ghetto out of them..Her tude" makes me just want to slap her..Also both of them need "Afros or something done with thier natural naps. This way sweating!!! is not an issue.

I'am tired of these Sisters going after and dating these wanna be Rappers and atheletes knowing somewhere down the line these Jokers will split..it's time to try a new field of Brothers there are a lot of young Black business minded Brothers and Sisters out there who can't hook up because Brothers and Ssters feel intimidated by their success..hey go for it and stop dating these losers....

First of all, Serena is not manly looking... I think she looks good, she plays professional tennis, which the last time I checked required you to be able to run distances and swing a tennis racket, your bound to get muscles... So please get of it... Sorry to hear their not together though...

It is despondent how people degrade people on these internet blogs. The couple broke up. Why talk about the ladies look. She is an athlete, therefore she is going to have muscles. Serena is not made up like a man. This woman has owner ship in the Miami Dolphins. Serena has her own clothing line. She is current ranked number # in tennis. I am not saying she is the prettiest woman in the world but I respected what their father helped them accomplished. He decided he was going to make his daughters professional athletes and he did.
