Ever wonder if Jada Pinkett Smith knows what TMI means? She certainly leaves little to the imagination when it comes to her sex life with her man Will Smith.
Monday on 'Oprah,' Pinkett Smith couldn't wait to reveal for the zillionth time that she's still lighting her superstar husband's fire. Oprah Winfrey, who jokingly prodded for more after the 'Hawthorne' actress said she surprises her husband with her spontaneity, forced Jada to admit, "Well even during the day I might send a sexy picture of some sort... just a reminder of what's waiting at home. And if he's on the set with me, on the set of 'Hawthorne,' he might take a little... break."
With emphasis on the word, "break," it was more than clear that Jada and Will weren't going out for a smoke. Married to Smith for the last 11 years, the petite Pinkett Smith had no hesitations discussing her risque romps in the hay. My immediate reaction? An exaggerated eye-rolling session. This surprised me, because in the past, my normal response to Jada's disclosure of the couple's sex secrets usually took the form of a chuckle paired with a high pitched "They're so cute!" However, Jada's recent revelation to Oprah was just an example of TMI -- too much information. In magazine interviews and on talk shows, the Smiths have milked this I-need-the-world-to-know-we're-at-it-like-rabbits image for all it worth. It's not as if they are sex therapists using their experiences to promote projects. Pinkett Smith is an actress and producer and there in no tie in. In the past, they have blabbed about limo sex, sex at friends' houses, bathroom sex, outdoor sex, role-play sex, costume sex, sexting, at-work sex, and, once in 2008, the possibility of open-marriage sex! Geesh. Glad to know that the married couple enjoys a healthy sex life, but then again, they are married, and married people have sex with each other. It would actually be bigger news if they said they stopped having sex than to continue to convince the world of how much they are having.
For the last two years, Jada has been more than willing to spill the deets of their sex life, leaving some to wonder is the incessant chatter of about intercourse between the two is really overcompensation for something that is lacking or being covered up in their relationship? The truth of the matter is, for most mature adults who are really having phenomenal, creative, mind-blowing sex, intimate details are kept private. Take away the celebrity, and turn them into a nondescript couple, it's rather childish (think high school boys locker room) to speak about just how frisky you are. Everyone knows you don't need to talk about it when you are really about it.
And, if they were really are about it, then Jada's sexual broadcast wouldn't be such a yawner. These PG-13 secrets aren't really anything to get hot and bothered about. Give us something kinky if you're trying to wear the Queen of Kink crown. Admittedly, there's nothing wrong with talking about sex, but one should be more discerning about how often you talk about it and with whom. Ms. Pinkett Smith has reached her max on both.

I applaud Jada and will for being open about their marriage. It has potential to give you haters an opportunity to learn something that may be skillful into keeping your marriage spontaneous and creative. It's not like they're just two people shacking up and doing the do. The are two grown adults and are married. More power to em!!!

Really, sounds like the writer is just a little bit envious, ya think? I think viewers like hearing about a genuine successful couple in Hollywood (as in a genuine loving relationship). And tatummp1, you really don't think that either one of them can act? To each his own...but if you're one of those 'who cares' why are you commenting?

I agree with the comment that at least they're not talking about divorce after so many years together (in Hollywood years this is like 50 years of marriage!) Maybe they can inspire other couples to make time out of their busy schedules to be creative and to find ways to keep the flame alive then maybe there will be less divorces. Personally I wouldn't tell that many details though....

Why is it wrong for two people that have been married for a while to still enjoy sex??? Hating is a sickness that this author needs to be hospitalized for. Terrible.

It's a cover up for both Will's and her's homosexual exploits. He's the only male actor I know that makes sure a up close shot of his booty is made. Look at the Prince of Bel Air, he constantly has his booty tooted up.
