It seems that Halle Berry just can't seem to get it right when it comes to love. RadarOnline reports that after nearly five years, Halle and her young beau Gabriel Aubry are calling it quits. The split may be attributed to the 9-year age difference between the couple--Halle being 43 and Gabriel 34--according to an insider.
"Gabriel just felt it wasn't working anymore," said the source.
Meanwhile the two have worked out a financial and custody arrangement. Aubry reportedly isn't asking for any money from the 'Monster's Ball' star; only the house they share in Canada. His main concern is the joint custody of their two year-old daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry, an arrangement Berry apparently agreed to with no hesitation.
The two allegedly separated months ago. Amidst all the recent ugly breakups in Hollywood, we're glad to hear that the split was amicable but we're sad to see them part ways. After two failed marriages and a slew of break-ups under her belt, insiders say Berry is taking this pretty hard.
Nene Sets the Record Straight
'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' star NeNe Leakes and hubby Greg have decided to put an end to all the recent divorce rumors. The reality couple recently released a statement to CNN asserting that the two are nowhere near breaking up, stating, "Greg and I are still together – not separated or divorced."
Speculations of divorce began circling the web last week with the rumor that the outspoken reality star was involved with a younger man--former New Orleans Saints player Charles Grant. Leakes adamantly denies the rumors stating, "Charles Grant is no more than a casual acquaintance of mine... I don't know how those rumors started."
The Leakes, who have been married for 13 years, do admit that they are experiencing marital problems but say they are committed to working things out.
Drake's Controversial New Girl?
Judging from recent photos and Twitter updates, it appears that rapper Drake has a new lady in his life. The Young Money rapper has been seen around town quite a bit with video vixen Maliah Michele, and camp insiders are claiming it's the real deal. Drake flew Maliah down to Jamaica a few weeks back to be the leading lady in his upcoming video and the two were spotted last week getting nice and cozy at Atlanta's Gold Room.
Since then the two have been professing their boo status through Twitter updates and the press. Michele recently phoned into San Francisco 94.9 bashfully laughing when the disk jockeys asked if the two were in fact a couple. She didn't deny nor admit to their couple status, but she did go on to say that "Drake is extremely inspirational. He's an amazing young man."
Michele is well known for her provocative photo shoots, highlighting her bodacious... assets. It's rumored that she's a former stripper and escort. It's too early to tell what's going on between the two, but it seems like they're having a "good time."
Henry Simmons Is Off the Market
We almost shed a tear after hearing the news about Henry Simmons. The hunky star from the CBS show 'Shark' recently announced that he'll be tying the knot next month. Who's the lovely lady you ask? Actress Sophina Brown-- his former co-star on 'Shark' who now stars on the criminal drama 'Numb3rs.' The two have set the date for May 28th. As much as it pains us, we have to admit the two make the cutest couple. Congrats!

As an admirer of Halle BERRY,her movies and her beauty, her beauty becomes ugly when she cannot settle and compromise with any man of her choice, when you have BOSS LADY SYNDROME...Changing men like jeans pants becomes a pattern,a bad role model for young black girls and young women.

Saying Halle Berry is suffering from Boss Lady Syndrome is unfair, unless you know her personally. Just because her relationships haven't had success, does not mean she is completely at fault. It takes two people to make or break a relationship.

I am not sure you know what Halle Berry suffers from in her personal life. I would think it is not anyone's business!
Halle is an Oscar winning actress, with many awards given to her, for gift of acting. If you want to use her media image as a role model for acting, great! We can all agree she is definitely talented. However, using her media image as a role model for relationships, based on her track record is not what the world recognizes her for and to do so would be bad judgement on your part. Also, let's not be so quick to down a sister who has come up against some challenges with keeping a "good man" man.

Yeah she might have Boss Lady syndrome, but what I'm trippin' off of is, why is it that black women were not mad at her for going outside her race to be with this white man? Some black women have tried to use the excuse of Halle's moma being white, but what about Jason Taylor of the New York Jets? His mother is white, so does he get a pass for marrying a white woman?

I'm sorry to hear of Halle's split. I just don't know what to think of relationships now days. It seems almost not worth it anymore. Well, hopefully, she won't take it as another failure upon herself and try to live a happy life with her daughter.

I don't know why she has troubles with men, but Michael Ealy was quoted as saying she is mad crazy to deal with.

Just like Whitney, she can't blame it on black men anymore.News flash, this chick won an oscar for playing a horney mammie, getting banged by white trash. No matter where this gal goes there she is going to be.That is the danger of not taking responsibility for your own actions.I just hate she brought a child into the world to mess up.

How is this news of any importance? It still amazes me how, in today's society, we are so involved in what is going on with "the stars." I, frankly, don't care who is with whom, how long they are together, what they are doing nor when or how they are doing it. I view the so-called stars as the entertainers they are and nothing more. I have zero interest in their personal life unless, of course, there is a death or tragedy of some kind. Other than that, I can't phantom a reason why we should be concerned about reports regarding personal lives. If you have a life of your own you are far too busy trying to live it to want to keep up with "the stars" -- and I use that description loosely. I, for one, don't care what Halle and her latest fling does. We focus far too much on the rich and famous. How does that help your life?
