Whether they think it's overrated or they're hopeless romantics who wait all year for February 14th to roll around, most people have pretty strong opinions about Valentine's Day. And no one expresses their opinions quite like New Yorkers. That's why Black Voices took to the streets of New York City to poll some men and women about their thoughts on the matter. Watch our exclusive video to see what people had to say about the necessity of the holiday and the best Valentine's Day gifts they've ever received.

Loving and expressing love shouldn't be condition to one day of the year, but expressed ALL YEAR around. IF one must feel the need to express the ultimate love they have for that special someone ONLY one day of the year ie Valentine's Day, then it really isn't what is true, yet the pressure from 1. That love one in ther lives 2. Family 3. Friends 4. MEDIA which is so overrated. NEVER wait to express yourself for one day, do so all year around. IF you have to do so ONLY on that day, then ask yourself, IS she/he the one?
Peace

Someone said Russians had it bad.
Well, I sit here without a job. There are societal monsters speaking out about what they can do to me. So many of them now. They have me without money, clean food, a job, unemployment benefits or even soap. I sit here and am being attacked by these crazy white motherf..er’s. They have shrunk my head, given me diseases, hurt my soul. They send black's after me They give me nightmares. I, a college graduate, am forced to pay back tens of thousands of dollars for an education that now states no sucky white man, no get a job.
They accuse me of speaking out and causing the deaths of my family members. Because I do not bow down to them like a dog. Consequently, they push death closer. I have ten diseases.
Monsters
Demi gods born from hell.
And why do you think it is that I have no money, no job and am being tortured? Could be because I said no, you 300 million lunatics cannot kill Obama. Although, yes, he must say no to one of you eventually.
2000 government applications filed, not one interview.
Pain givers. Monsters who lurk about me are ready to pounce. God knows I have cause to hate.
Russians have it bad?
They don’t know bad. They don’t know an american master, a demigod from Hell, a true maggot of the galaxy, looming.
Today valentine madness surrounds me. I don’t want to see it. I suffered thanksgiving and xmas. No food even.
So, here it is 2:30 in the morning.
No job
No money
Collection monsters
Pain
Entities that want to kill Obama were told no.
Now, if only the lord will have mercy on my soul.

I think it makes folks stop and remember why they fell in love. Seems like reminders are everywhere TV, stores, co- workers, and the kids they bring home that little hand made card:)... My point is we should not read so much into it but on the other hand someone may get or give some flowers that have been long overdue that just may be what a relationship needed to bring folks back to the simple things in life with all the hustle and bustle we do on a daily basis. On another note women you can look 5 yrs younger in 14 days with Anew by Avon I use it and it is great!!! you can find it at http://www.avonwebstore.com and ladies if you register you get up to 65% off and free shipping on certain items but it is truly a blessing and amazing http://www.avonwebstore.com its like having a face lift without the pain and cost...
