Despite Janet Jackson's September interview with Harper Bazaar in which she claimed she was newly single, new reports indicate the opposite.

According to People magazine, Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, who have been on again and off again for seven years, have confirmed that they are indeed back on -- and apparently they never really split in the first place.

Dupri was clearly not around in the wake of Michael Jackson's death nor in the months that followed, but insiders tell People that he was simply giving Janet space to grieve.

Recently, the two have been seen out and about together. It's nice to see Miss Jackson getting back to her old self. Losing a loved one can definitely put a strain on a relationship, but it can also bring people closer together. We're glad to see that this couple is resilient, but for goodness sake, Jermaine, put a ring on it already!
