Valentine's Day On a Budget: Romance Doesn't Have to Break The Bank

Valentine's Day is a love it or hate it kind of holiday. Some people think it's completely romantic -- a wonderful opportunity to show your significant other how much he or she means to you and get the same in return. For others, it's a corny Hallmark holiday, a day out of the year when you're forced to shell out extra bucks (in this dire economy, too!) to prove your love.

But here's a hint: You don't have to break the bank or spend any money at all, to make Valentine's Day special for you and yours. Sure, you (should) show your loved one how much you care throughout the year, but going above and beyond on this day of all days will definitely score you some points.
