According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oxygen's 'Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love' set network records in its premiere airing, becoming the channel's most-watched original series premiere ever. Following the lives of sports star Deion Sanders, Pilar Sanders and their family, the reality show scored big in the desirable demos of women ages 18-34 and 18-49 and men and women 18-49.
While a plethora of reality shows focus on the booty hookup (read: 'Flavor of Love,' 'I Love New York,' 'Rock of Love' .... sensing a trend?), Deion and Pilar strive to produce a show based on genuine love and togetherness.
So what keeps a marriage hot and sexy (and more importantly, out of divorce court)?
Losing the granny panties, for one. What else? In the above exclusive video segment for Blackvoices.com, Deion and Pilar share how they've kept the flame burning in their marriage. (Feel free to take notes.)

Whew! These two were made for each other fashion wise. Not a good thing in this case, though. In this 2004 shot, it was all about "former" professional football and baseball player Deion Sanders, whose clothes are more subdued, but still comes to the Maxim Magazine's Circus Maximus Party with streaks of the flamboyance we've come to know him for. (Photo by Evan Agostini, Getty Images)
After cutting all of his hair off, Deion has taken to wearing hats and chunky watches on a regular. The shorts still give us a glimpse of the man who likes to stand out in a crowd. (Photo by Greg Fiume, Getty Images)

LOL...I love this show!!! I even like watching the reruns. Watching them interact as family, reminds me of my household growing up. Finally a positive image on television. I wish them every bit of happiness.

Keeping your life is very private I think but, at the same time it gives us color people some shine it allows others to not see us just as black it's show that there are very wealthy and educated blacks. The Cosbys is not just fiction it's reality to. Deion and Pilar keep doing your thang, I loved watching the show.

Deion and Pilar are beautiful. Deion is not fooling anyone though, Pilar knows the deal, he isn't wearing a wedding ring and he is not faithful to her. Best of Luck to the couple as they have accepted their relationship for what it is.

I have watched the show and I like Deion..I don't like Pilar though. I think she is fake and puts on a show for the cameras. I also think she needs to put on regular clothes opposed to athletic wear. She speaks just to make herself a camera target when she has nothing relevant to say. It is very annoying. I have also noticed that this show is very edited and not well. Some episodes the two little boys have low cuts to begin the day and curly hair later that day. If you are going to have a "reality" show, how are you going to retape shows at a later date and not pay attention to the detail that their hair is grown out during the retaping.

Why are there so many anti inter-racial relationship comments every time a successful black couple is the topic of discussion? Color shouldn't matter. "Keep it black" or the "protect the secrets of black love",or even "Michael needed a break from color", come on people, it is 2008. Can't we diversify ourselves as a nation? I am tired of how segregated our country is. Or how all the white women all always "stealing the good black men." What hold people together in any relationship is personality and compatability. We should be happy and congradulate any couple who is able to love and respect each other these days; black or mixed.

First thing....she is not even WHITE! Second everone has a negative comment when it's not them. All that matters is someone is trying to give back and give hope to others. Show them that they can have what ever they work for. No matter what it is, a beautiful wife, an attractive husband, a loving home it's all in what you put in to it. So lets stop downing others for setting their goals high and working a plan to achieve them.
